Strength can support how you move through your life—with greater independence, confidence, and ease.
Your strength programming is developed around what matters to you: your experience, current capacity, preferences, schedule, and the unique needs of your body. Bodies and needs change over time. You may be new to strength training, returning after time away, navigating changes in your body or metabolism, using a GLP-1 medication, or thinking more intentionally about maintaining strength and muscle as you age.
The focus is on maintaining and building muscle and functional strength while helping you feel more comfortable, capable, and confident in your body.
Strength training is more than sets, repetitions, and resistance. I want you to understand what you're doing, learn to respond to your body, and develop the confidence and agency to make strength a meaningful part of your life.
My approach combines exercise physiology and education with habit change, nutrition, mindfulness, nervous system regulation, and trauma-informed practice. Your experience, capacity, energy, and relationship with your body all matter. Rather than relying on shame, pushing through pain, or assuming motivation is the problem, we'll work with curiosity, appropriate challenge, and the flexibility to adapt.
Ultimately, I want you to feel seen and heard while becoming stronger and more confident in your body. Strength isn't reserved for athletes, “gym people,” or a particular kind of body—and it doesn't have to be about aesthetics. Strength can be empowering, support your independence, and be fun. We can laugh, too.
